EMDG ACCOUNTING

Keep your export marketing spend organised, supported and ready for Austrade reporting.

Neo Numerist helps Australian businesses build the accounting records behind a clear, supportable EMDG application or milestone report.

How Neo Numerist can help

Good EMDG reporting starts long before the deadline. We help Australian exporters across all industries organise their accounting records, track eligible export-marketing expenditure and maintain the supporting evidence needed for an EMDG application or milestone report.

Round 4 update

Applications are closed. The portal is open for 2026–27 milestone reports, which must be submitted by 15 June 2027.

Understanding matched funding

Round 4 grantees must record total eligible expenditure equal to twice the grant amount stated in their agreement. For a $20,000 grant, this means contributing $20,000 of the business’s own funds and recording $40,000 in total eligible expenditure. Larger grants require greater eligible expenditure. Future-round rules may differ.

Discuss your EMDG records

Whether you hold a current Round 4 agreement or are preparing for a future application round, tell us where you are up to and what support you need. Neo Numerist provides accounting, record-keeping and grant-readiness support. EMDG eligibility and grant payments are determined by Austrade; no outcome is guaranteed. Neo Numerist is not affiliated with or endorsed by Austrade.
